Though there are various car insurance plans in US, the liability auto insurance policy is considered to be of the first level. This includes two parts called damages to property and bodily injury.

Coverage for medical treatment at times of accident generally comes under bodily injury. This is usually expressed as the amount given to one person and that given as entire amount given to all people in the insurance claim. Property damage is the second part which will include the liabilities to cover all losses to other people’s personal belongings, car, and damages to pedestrians, houses and fences. This amount will generally be less than that of the amount given as bodily injury.
